Hmmm. In that example, I don't really see what value the <br /> has, that
wouldn't work just as well for any other arbitrary piece of punctuation
(e.g. a colon).

The two sentences do of course have different meanings: one is an action,
and the other an explanation. If there is a desire/requirement to separate
them, surely it would be better to do that in a more structured way...?

At which point I seem to be arguing for more bloat and less simplicity, so I
think I'll stop there };*)
