I am trying to process XHTML with the Xerces Java Parser from Apache. For
the currently posted DTD (PUBLIC: -//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN, SYSTEM:
http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd), the Xerces parser
complains about line 315, column 47:
The attribute declaration for "xml:space" must be given as an enumerated
type whose only possible values are "default" and "preserve".

Can you tell me if this is a mistake in the DTD or a mistake in the parser?
Thanks in advance.
