Subject: Bad links in the PR-HTML40-971107 document

To the editors of the HTML 4.0 specification
(cross-posted to the www-html list to avoid duplicated effort)

I have discovered the following bad links in the
HTML 4.0 specification (PR-HTML40-971107).

Note that there may be bad links other than the ones
listed here, because:

- my link checker only reports the first occurrence of each
non-existent page, even if referenced in different pages,

- it does not check full URLs, ie ones that start
   "http://www.w3.org/",

- it does not check fragment identifiers.

I have not given any context for the strings here, so you
will have to do a search. Note that the quotation marks
are in general significant, and that not all occurrences
of the given string are to be changed: only change the
instances that are wrong :-)
