Yes I'm the right person. It's very important to start some kind of
test suite for XHTML.
I propose that people interested discuss it in the mailing list
www-html-testsuite and starts the work now.

Vincent Quint, Gerald Oskoboinsky, Takuya Asada, Masayasu Ishikawa
are already there. This list is semi-public, in the sense archives
are public but to be subscribed, you must ask me. Just to be sure to
have a constructive work on it.
A good reference for the work done around test-suite is

So I propose to start now, and to give us, Shane, what kind of test
of primary test you need.
What Specs? XHTML 1.0, XHTML Basic, etc.
