I have never come to across something like that. Never heard something like 
XFrames DOM :)

Just a thought:  perhaps the XFrames specification should define a
XFrames DOM, much like the MathML DOM extends core DOM for MathML, or
the HTML DOM extends core DOM for XHTML and HTML.
