My use of nsgmls and the strict 4.0 DTD seems to indicate that align is
not a valid
IMG attribute, but I didn't see any note on
http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/struct/objects.html#edef-IMG
indicating that the attribute was deprecated.
% nsgmls -s index.html
nsgmls:index.html:73:17:E: there is no attribute "ALIGN"
73 <img align=left src="images/ghandi-tn.gif"
