UI Binding in other XML vocabularies

Hello all,

The "UI Binding in other XML vocabularies" section (
http://www.w3.org/TR/xforms/slice7.html#ui-binding-foreign) in the XForms
1.0 Recommendation seems to imply that I can bind a regular old xhtml
<input> field to part of my XForms model.  I tried putting something simple
together to test this and it didn't work.  Does the Firefox XForms plugin
not support this?  Can anybody confirm having gotten this to work?  Maybe
I'm just doing something wrong.
