Re: XForms Implementations which are actually Working software??

Andrew, all,

I'm starting to like your humor :-) You never give up, do you?

Organizing beta-testers and checking the implementations like
a lawyer seems to be both constructive for XForms as well as
fit your personality... *chuckle*

Go for it. Just don't start again making people and yourself
look stupid. We can really all live together in a friendly and
respectful manner... So let's move on....

The W3C is holding a public implementation workshop end
of February [1].

Anyone can show up claiming he has XForms 1.0 CR
implementation. The working group will be there. We will
look at the stuff. Feedback from that Workshop as well as
perhaps results from your latest endeavour, Andrew, will help
us clean up and re-organize the List of Implementations on the
W3C XForms page...

:-)

Just to not leave the impression as if there weren't several
real pieces of software working, I've been successfully managing
my blog over at [2] for over half a year thru an XForm in
X-Smiles. Novell XForms and FormsPlayer to me seem to be in
really good shape too. With my own implementor's hat on, yes,
DENG is still work-in-progress and not just there yet. :-)
In general, getting more information on the exact state
of *all* implementations is a Good Thing. The WG is holding
the implementation workshop, other efforts in that direction
are - of course - most welcome and appreciated...

- Sebastian
