submit.extension

1)How about "extension" rather than "submitExtension"
under xform.submit?  This is more concise and consistent:
    xform
    xform.submit
    xform.submit.extension
Not
    xform
    xform.xformSubmit
    xform.xformSubmit.xformSubmitExtension
or the one in between that we have now.

2)The current examples in
http://www.w3.org/TR/xforms/a-examples.html
have
    xform.submitInfo
while the schema reads
    xform.submit
How about dropping "Info"; it is always redundant.
