Thanks for spotting the typo.
We explicitly say "schema constraints" because there are
XForms constraints e.g. 'required' --that are not "schema
constraints".
Schema constraints are indeed schema constraining facets
e.g. take a string and then create a weekday type out of
it--
however when we say "schema constraints" we really meant
"all constraints on the instance that are being provided by
the schema"--
this would include schema constraint facets --but more
e.g. type constraints specified by the schema.

Also, with regard to how to increase participation in the
public list --I'm open to suggestion.
I dont have direct access to the membership list for the
public WWW-forms list --so I dont know how many subscribers
that list has.
