Dear all,
FormsPlayer for IE 6, version 0.9.1.0 is now available for download
from the FormsPlayer site:
http://www.FormsPlayer.com/
Along with various bug fixes, the new features are:
+ evaluation context is now correctly set to the root node of an
instance, rather than the document (please pay particular
attention to this if you already have some forms that use the
previous player - they may need to change)
+ bind has now been implemented
- there is no validity constraint on min- and maxOccurs
+ models now have multiple instances
- not clear from the spec how replace="instance" on
xforms:submission should behave when there are multiple
instances. For now, FormsPlayer *always* replaces the first
instance (see the "Weather Retriever" sample)
+ external functions can be called from XPath statements
+ function provided for rendering nodelists as XML text (see the
"Function Libraries" sample)
+ actions can be indicated with the ev:event attribute directly on
the observer, without wrapping in an xforms:action element
+ _if() XPath function is now correctly called if()
- still requires the xforms namespace prefix
+ fixed misnamed attribute on xforms:dispath (now @target, rather
than @control)
As always, we welcome you comments and bug reports. Please use the
FormsPlayer group at Yahoo!:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FormsPlayer/
Regards,
Mark
