AIS Special Interest Group on Semantic Web and Information Systems

we would like to inform you for our ongoing activities:

1) It has just been published (available at www.sigsemis.org) our AIS SIGSEMIS Bulletin, 1(2) July Issue, special theme: Semantic Web Challenges for Knowledge Management

2) We organize the AIS SIGSEMIS track in ECIS 2005, Regensburg Germany. See 
(http://www.ecis2005.de/semantic.html), and find the relevant call for papers 

3). AIS SIGSEMIS sponsored Special Issue in Library Management Journal, Volume 26, No 4/5 2005
Theme: "Libraries in the Knowledge Era: Exploiting the knowledge wealth for Semantic Web Technology". (very soon cfp available at www.sigsemis.org)

4). AIS SIGSEMIS Special issue in "The Learning Organization Journal", Volume 13, Issue 1, 1/2006 

Theme: "Ubiquitous Organizational Intelligence: The new milestone for (inter)-organizational learning" 
(very soon cfp available at www.sigsemis.org)

5). Our SIGSEMIS portal is migrating to a new more powerfull server. In early september on line.

6). Our AIS SIGSEMIS sponsored International Journal on Semantic Web and Information Systems Journal will be launch its campaign in september 2005 with a full functional web site under the sigsemis portal.

7). In september we will communicate a CFP for the Encyclopedia of Semantic web Research.

8). We are in the process of organizing our First Virtual International Conference through a full integrated on-line infrastructure and virtual symposiums. 

9). We are planning two more special issues in international journals in 2005, in order to communicate the SW challenges for IS. 

10). We are planning to make AIS SIGSEMIS Bulletin more powerfull through collaborations and new columnist. If you are interested in editing a column please contact Dr. Miltiadis Lytras.
