Inconsistent slash in the cache directory path

My cache path, in Windows XP, looks like this:
C:\Documents and Settings\juan.lanus\amaya\libwww-cache/libwww-cache
The last slash is UNIX-like, and is not consistent with the others.
I checked the directory and it's empty. Meybe because of this.
