Bug: "Preserve Lines When Pasting" Pref does not work in OS X ?

When pasting text from a variety of sources into the wysiwyg Amaya  
view,  the text all runs together into a single paragraph, and where  
there were line or paragraph breaks in the source,  there is no line  
break, nor paragraph break, indeed no space at all in Amaya.  The  
break is completely omitted,  "like this.Here is the next  
paragraph.And another paragraph."

This paste behavior is the same regardless of whether the "preserve  
lines" pref is on or off.

It would be nice to 1) have Amaya OS X Paste do at least some level  
of line/paragraph splitting,  and 2) have a controllable option in  
Amaya to insert either <br> or <p>  breaks for pasted text.  (unless  
it can always figure out the "right" thing to do automatically).

Thanks for everyone's great work on Amaya.
