8.52 and desktop shortcuts

Amaya 8.52 is not respecting the folder set up by
the desktop icons  Start in:  dialog

For example  if Start in c:\xyz  is filled in

the File - Open Document - Browse   
should start the browse inside folder xyz 
but now it uses user?????
