Although float is doing much better than the last version file:///C:/BugsAmaya/cssFloat.htm file:///C:/BugsAmaya/cssFloat2.htm shows there are small problems still --- the first row widths are not using the actual widths for the background color display ... i guess a sequenciing problem where display is starting prior to completion of box calculations .... or perhaps the background is only being done for the width of the first row cell widt rather than overall cell width for that column...... no contents are lost now but the look is not nice..... -- -- John Russell, VE3LL@RAC.CA http://home.cogeco.ca/~ve3ll http://home.cogeco.ca/~trains http://home.cogeco.ca/~cipher
