Thanks for your response.
I scanned this in using the scanning software for the HP 2300C and HP 2300C 
scanner. The software produces the html file and the jpeg file in the 
directory menotioned in the html file.

Could you point me to an URL that shows the problem and give me more
information about the used Amaya version (version number)?
