RE: XHTML 2 Role Tag

Is it upto the role tag to provide this level of precision in specifying the role of something?

dp. I don't know. When Janina had a look at a page to look for page names, I was surprised
to find her describing (correct me if I'm wrong Janina) what I saw as footer content, as
sidebars. It then struck me that eyes free access to page information has far less respect
for spacial relationships than what I at least deem important.

To my knowledge spacial aspects have, correction, had, not been brought into the discussion.

Janina, David P, Jason. You tell us how important it is please, I'm not fit to make
a call on that one.

regards daveP.
