We are a wholly registered charitable trust, rolled out on 3rd September 2003, by our then Indian Cricket captain Mr.SAURAV GANGULY and Master blaster SACHIN TENDULKAR along with 35 Indian cricketers, Bangalore City Commissioner of Police, Minister for Women & Child Welfare-Karnataka, Film Actors and noted Movers & Shakers of Bangalore with packed media fraternity.
IDL FOUNDATION working towards the noble intention of serving the needy; pledged to reach out to a wide spectrum of underprivileged, poor and downtrodden, beyond the boundaries of caste, colour and creed… playing the role of a Good Samaritan. The driving force behind this effort is “doing anything to the least is serving God” believes Mr. P.K.PAUL, Founder & Executive Trustee of IDL FOUNDATION.
We are working for the holistic development for the persons with physical disabilities, more so with an emphasis on visually challenged. Our emphasis is building equal opportunity and to integrate the special people into mainstream, to live a normal life with use of technology and scientific devises and to give aids and appliances, filled with fun and entertainment. So far we have helped more than 15000 visually challenged/Blind people and received a State award 2006 for exemplary service for disabled. We have a target to help 1,00,000 disable in next 5 years.

In addition to the above we have formed a musical troupe by name and style IDL BLIND BAND, all band members – singers & musicians are blind, first of its kind in the state of Karnataka, performed to who’s who of the world. We sincerely attempt to bring the social change and transformation through Music, which has got no language and religion barrier, imbibing morale and ethics through universal language – music.
