  Hi folks,

Thank you for offering to provide policy updates for specific countries. Your countries are listed in the table under "Status" at http://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/changelogs/cl-policy-list#status -- under the "primary content provider" column.

1. Ready for your updates.

If no significant suggestions to change the format come from Friday's EOWG teleconference, please go ahead and provide the updates in the current format, which is explained here: http://www.w3.org/WAI/Policy/updates.html Note that the top of that page lists the separate pieces of information for others sending individual updates. I'm hoping that you will provide your entire section formatted in HTML all ready to paste in!

See http://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/Drafts/policyformat.html for additional format examples for different language combinations, and for notes on what to include. (Let's think about which of this info to add to the Submitting Updates page or if we want to clean up that second page and link to it. We kept it separate before to keep the first page simple to encourage people to send in info and not be overwhelmed with the instructions.)

I expect there will be some questions about what to include or not include. You can send those in e-mail and we can set up a short call to discuss if that's useful.

Please send your updates to the wai-eo-editors list with subject: Policies Update - [Country]

2. Wait on asking others for updates.

I think we should wait a little before asking others to provide updates. For one thing, I want us to post the updates live soon after we receive them. We're not ready for that yet. We want to revise the front matter first, which will take some time. We might even want the front matter updated live before we ask others for updates.

Also, as we pull together and process our "own" updates, we might come up with additional guidance that we want to add to the Submitting Updates page or include in e-mails asking for updates.

Comments on all of this are welcome! Send them to EOWG if you think they are of interest to most of the working group folks; if not, keep wai-eo-editors in the CC to public archive comments (and not go to many e-mail boxes).
