Re: [wbs] response to 'EOWG Call for Review: Web Accessibility Evaluation Tools, 2006 March'

Hi Shawn,

Thanks for your comments. All your suggestions have been incorporated with the exception of the following items:

There are many entry points so hard to determine which is the first occurrence. Also, AFAIK screen readers will not read acronyms aloud by default and can be skipped.

"MacOS" is a name in this case, I do not think they ever spell out "OS".

"Free Software" is a license term. Also, and online checker *is* software (also as we define in the first line of the overview page).

The CSS needs to be looked at more closely. The screen grabs will help a lot to optimize the presentation. (This work will probably be done later though, after publishing)

Since this requires modification of the scripts, it is better addressed after publishing.

Humans don't usually interact directly with aggregator software so they are not really relevant in this context. IMHO, this sentence provides a short summary of what is needed without having to read the "About RSS" introduction. Remember, when this link is selected it may open as an XML page in some browsers (as opposed to RSS). Some readers may not understand what is going on. I've added "software such as browsers or e-mail clients that support RSS" to be more technically precise.

When the link is removed, the "Overview" page seems like something different from the <a>Overview</a> link which is located right above in the horizontal menu. The link helps to identify that both are actually the same thing.
