I have been working on an elaboration of the mozilla keyboard model propsed by Peter Korn last week[1] and would be intersted in comments. The draft proposal can be found at: http://cita.rehab.uiuc.edu/mozilla/mozilla-keyboard.html Some of the things in this proposal include: 1. Elaboration on interaction of Caret and Standard modes of operation 2. Details orientation information provided to users as they navigate through content (primarily through the status bar) 3. Proposes the concept of separating keyboard bindings from the navigation function, for user configuration 4. Proposes making the navigation functions available to javascript based extensions as building blocks for custom extensions Jon Gunderson, Ph.D., ATP Coordinator of Assistive Communication and Information Technology Division of Rehabilitation - Education Services MC-574 College of Applied Life Studies University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign 1207 S.
