1 September UAAG 1.0 Guidelines and Techniques available

Hello,

I got motivated today and have published the 1 September 2000
UAAG 1.0 Guidelines [1] and Techniques [2]. The primary changes 
since the 18 August draft were:

a) Edits to applicability
b) Deletion of old checkpoint 9.3
c) Edits to checkpoints 10.4, 10.5, and 10.8 to
   incorporate required default bindings.
d) Checkpoint 11.1 requires WCAG 2.0 Level Double-A conformance
e) Added some requirements to checkpoint 4.12 for support of
   speech synth properties
   
The full list of changes [3] has been updated and is quoted below.

CHANGES:

 Changes to Guidelines

      * Edits to para of prose in G7 to talk more about types of blocks
       (containers, etc.) for structured navigation.

  Changes to Checkpoints

     * 1.1: Deleted third sentence per resolution of [7]31 August
       teleconf. Moved this sentence to introduction (section 2.1).
     * 1.2: Editorial changes described in [8]proposal from Ian per
       resolution of [9]31 August teleconf.
     * 1.3: Editorial changes described in [10]proposal from Ian per
       resolution of [11]31 August teleconf.
     * 1.5: Removed reference to assistive technologies from requirement
       text.
     * 2.7: Edited per resolution of [12]31 August teleconf.
     * 4.6: Changed rewind to beginning to fast reverse per resolution
of
       [13]31 August teleconf.
     * 4.12: added spelling, punctuation, and number processing per
       resolution of [14]24 August teleconference.
     * 5.7: Added that this only applies for UAs that implement CSS, per
       resolution of [15]24 August teleconference.
     * 9.2: Moved technique about prompting for all submissions to note
       since comment on conformance.
     * Old 9.3: Deleted per resolution of [16]31 August teleconf.
     * 10.3, 10.5, 10.8: Edited according to [17]proposal from Ian per
       resolution of [18]31 August teleconf.
     * 11.1: Minimal requirement is Double-A WCAG conformance per
       resolution of [19]24 August teleconference.

     * Dfn of Recognize: added example of unrecognized text

  Changes to Conformance

   Per the [20]applicability analysis and the resolution of [21]24
August
   teleconference:
     * Added to section 2 that the subject of the claim is the "user
       agent" of each checkpoint.
     * Moved section on appliability to earlier in the document.
     * There is only one claim subject. It may consist of several
       components.
     * Added RFC2046 as normative reference for applicability of content
       type
     * Deleted 2 applicability provisions (communication, unsupported
       technologies)
     * Edited remaining for provisions. Shortened this section and
       removed explanatory prose.

     * 8.1: Added some techniques based on [25]comments from Harvey
       Bingham.
