as I said I have no experience at all with Silverlight. but in this
case the output, a school website, would need to be accessible and
this includes cross platform access since I would suspect it needs to
be used not only by the students but by the parents of these students.

Schools often ignore the parents of students some of whom probably
have a disability, and they have a right to access their childrens
school website.

(just a side observation, there are hundreds of websites and email
lists for parents of children with disabilities but to the best of my
knowledge there are only two for parents with disabilities, I am sure
there could be a few thousand disertations on this issue)
