Popular Accessible Sites Request

Strange question:

Does anyone know af any  general news sites or portals that are both
accessible and popular with folks using assistive technologies? I don't mean
sites that focus on issues related to people with disabilities; I mean
general topic sites that are accessible and, so, popular among people with
disabilities. Is anyone maintaing a good favorites list?
