Google and hidden text/links

Hi,

Someone on CHI-WEB has pointed out that on the Google page:

    http://www.google.com/webmasters/guidelines.html

there is a warning against using hidden text or links.  I wonder what impact
"skip navigation links" will have on a web page being processed by Google.
