Dear EOWG Participants:

An agenda and calling logistics for our 17 November 2006 teleconference follow.

Agenda:

1. Disseminating existing resources & outreach campaigns

- What key documents do we want to disseminate in the upcoming weeks (before the next WCAG 2.0 release)?
- What key audiences do we want to reach in the upcoming weeks (before the next WCAG 2.0 release)?
- Discuss an early concept draft and open issues:

* [EARLY IDEAS] Promotional Campaign to Web Development Course Instructors
  http://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/Drafts/promos/courses.php

- Does the brief requirements analysis capture what is most needed, and can be delivered yet this year?
- What are promotion venues, e.g., e-mailing lists? newsletters? blogs? conference handouts? other? (Let's have some brief group discussion, and then ask for off-line followup.)
- Generally how is the approach for the start of an e-mail, under "Announcements"? What else should we include? What points will peak the interest of instructors?
- Generally, how is the [Including Web Accessibility in Courses] Content list? Should be add or remove items? How should it be focused?

Regards,
~ Shawn & Judy

IRC reminders and tips:
- IRC is supplemental to the call. Some participants do not have IRC. All
substantive comments should be said verbally in the call (not just in IRC).
- to type a side comment that will _not_ get recorded in the minutes, type
/me comment - e.g.:
/me hopes everyone had pleasant holidays
will come out:
*shawn hopes everyone had pleasant holidays
