for the moment all tests described in
http://www.w3.org/2000/10/rdf-tests/rdfcore/datatypes/Manifest
succeed but after changing 1E1 into 10.0
and "badly-formed" into \"badly-formed\"
(the latter to bypass a problem in Jena 1.6.0)
