URI Scheme that needs help.

I've been working on an Internet Draft for the SMB URI scheme for years now,
but the draft really needs some help. Version 11 (!) of the draft is set to
expire in a week.

I could really use some help rewriting the draft
- to look more like a *real* IETF document,
- to fill in some of the gaps that are still there,
- to ensure compliance with existing RFCs.

I have been the only author on this document and I'm not happy with that.
I could really use some help.

The SMB URI is now widely implemented based on these drafts and on a
description I provided online: http://www.ubiqx.org/cifs/Appendix-D.html

Software that supports the SMB URI scheme includes:
- Mac OS X
- The Firefox Browser (under Linux & possibly others, but not Windows)
- KDE's Konqueror browser
- jCIFS (Java SMB/CIFS client)
- Samba's libsmbclient (incomplete support)
- probably several others I don't even know about.

I really would like to see a "real" specification published. Right now the
current draft needs some updating so that I can re-submit it but I would
like to get it ready for prime-time.

The current draft is in the usual place:

My fingers are crossed.
