CRUMB-TOPPED CAULIFLOWER

1-1/2 c caulifowerets 
1/4 c finely chopped walnuts or pecans
3 T dry bread crumbs
3 T butter
1/4 c chopped green onion
1-1/2 t minced fresh parsley
1 t lemon juice

Place 1" water in saucepan.  Add cauliflower.  Bring to a boil, reduce heat, 
cover, and simmer 4-6 minutes or till crisp-tender.  Meanwhile, in a small 
skillet cook nuts and bread crumbs in butter for 1 minute.  Add onions and 
parsley.  Cook and stir till onions are tender and nuts and crumbs are lightly 
browned.  Stir in lemon juice.  Drain cauliflower, top with crumb mixture.

STEAMED BRUSSELS SPROUTS WITH GINGER & LIME

2 lb. Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved lengthwise
1 t fresh ginger root juice
1 T fresh lime juice
1 T honey
2 T butter

In steamer basket, steam sprouts, covered, till tender, about 15 min.  In a 
small pan over medium heat whisk together the ginger juice, lime juice, honey 
and butter.  Bring just to a boil and remove from heat.  Drain sprouts and put 
into serving bowl.  Add ginger-lime sauce and toss to coat.
