Re: Startups in the Semantic Web space

Hello Juan,

We founded a Semantic startup called LINKatu, based in Spain, on July this
year. LINKatu is focused on Semantic Web and Linked Data technologies and
their deployment within institutions. Although we are a new company, our
website is still under construction, we are actively working on very
interesting projects with much bigger companies. At the moment we are
working on two different topics, healthcare and tourism. For instance, we
recently developed a mashup to support breast cancer early detection and
treatment based on Linked Data, this tool is being deployed at Cruces
Hospital at the moment. We will be at SWAT4LS workshop in Berlin next week
and actively take part in Semantic Web Community.

If you would like to extend some information, please contact me.

P.D: I really liked the work you and Olaf did with SQUIN, very interesting.
