There are currently two language features in OWL-1.1 where RDF reification is used in the RDF syntax:

  * axiom annotations (comments on ontology axioms)

  * negative property assertions (negated statements, i.e. "NOT(s p o)")

And two issues have been raised, one for each of these language features:

  * ISSUE-67: use of reification in mapping rules is unwise (axiom annotation)
    <http://www.w3.org/2007/OWL/tracker/issues/67>

  * ISSUE-81: reification unwise in negative property assertions
    <http://www.w3.org/2007/OWL/tracker/issues/81>

So the OWL-WG *will* address all the OWL-1.1 related problems resulting from RDF Reification.

Cheers,
Michael
