New Xpointer scheme proposed: range

The Xpointer scheme range has been proposed by Syd Bauman for addition to
the XPointer Registry with the following information:
Description:
   Locates a range between two points in an XML information set. Takes two
pointer arguments which locate the boundaries of the range by two points,
and are interpreted as fragment identifiers. Each argument may return a
point, a range, or a node.
