Subject: XML Core Working Group Charter Proposal (Call for Review)

Dear Advisory Committee representative,

This is a Call for Review of a proposed charter for the XML Core Working
Group. The proposed charter is available at:

  http://www.w3.org/2005/02/xml-core-wg-charter.html

The primary proposed changes would bring into the Working Group's scope:

  - maintenance of the XPointer(s), Canonical XML, and Exclusive XML
    Canonicalization specifications, 
  - new W3C Recommendations for XLink 1.1 and Canonical XML 1.1.

Please note that work on XML Processors classification and XML Profiling, 
while no longer explicitly mentioned in the proposed charter, remain within 
the scope of the XLM Core Working Group.
