Re: EIIF and other efforts

Hi Gary

nice to hear from you!

Gavin and I are engaged in related discussions in the IAEM list,
where I just pinged about EIIF as the discussions there are so related
surely there must be people interested
in participating in this initiative, we just have to explain a bit the ethos
and goals etc

I recently touched based Coleen who is also working with FEMA, we both met
her in DC f2f a couple of years , maybe you should catch up with her locally

I am sure if we each keep each other posted and keep on cross referencing
related work , eventualy a digital ecosystem will
emerge to help us fuel this effort sufficiently for the next step.

The only way our work can succeed is to keep enganging with rleated
communities at all levels, and avoid perpetrating
the vacuum and vicious cycles that are created by lack of open communication
and information exchange

Lets keep at it :-)
