Hi Steve -- the app-backplane XG is now off the ground and running, and has
had its initial two telecons, starting on May 16. Minutes can be found at
[1] and [2]. We've set a schedule for ongoing weekly telecons on Tuesdays
at 11:00 Eastern.

Given the time required to confirm XG members and invited guests -- which
is still on-going -- we're wondering whether a reset of our start/end dates
to something like mid-May 2008/2009 would more closely reflect the actual
1-year working period that's available to us. Our current end date of 8
April would lose just over a month of working time for us.

It's not urgent either way, but if there are no significant approvals
required, or side effects, this change would be helpful to us! Thanks,
Charlie Wiecha
