This is an editorial issue. We use the syntax and production rules that are defined for Accept header as basis except as noted explicitly. We changed the wording to indicate that the values may contain "*" wildcard characters in order not to imply a single wild card character in Section 3.1 in the current draft [4]. We hope that this change addresses your concern. Therefore, the issue is closed.
