After reading the Dec 6 meeting notes, I gather that the next step for
JS page import is to get templates working for the new JavaScript pages,
and we begin by looking at the /apis/ pages for guidance. The /apis/
pages are JavaScript APIs after all, so it does make sense to begin
looking there.
I did notice others beginning to ramp up on JS template work, so I'm
just an extra voice joining yours in the effort. We'll exchange notes
as we go forward. It will be useful to assign tasks and track progress
using the project management site. We have a dedicated subproject there
for the JS import and templates for it. Here are the open issues:
http://project.webplatform.org/msdnjs/issues/open
Right now the only open issue is:
Task msjs-2 - Make JavaScript templates
Obviously we will need more tasks before this is all over, assigned to
different people. Frankly, long email chains are hard to navigate once
it gets more than a little complicated, and managing progress is hard
just by reading through it all. It will help streamline the work if we
use the project management site, especially with multiple people working
things.
Also note that because this is so specific to JS import, I believe we
should keep this effort separate from the existing Template issues area:
http://project.webplatform.org/tmpl/issues/open
It would get messy mixing existing issues with the JS import issues in
my opinion.
