@mgiuca not really a calendar, though it could be some sort of a plugin for a calendar.

Badges will look very weird for this use case. With the calendar example, it's like showing a day  with a badge. Badges are for "new" info, some updates. But this is not an update here. Just showing some state, not updates.

My reasoning here, if something is possible with native app, then it should be possible with PWA too.
