Unfortunately, that can't be strictly true, since a) security considerations are much higher on the web (which doesn't really apply here, though there are spoofing concerns), and b) we have to prioritize features based on what will be the most useful for developers. In an ideal world, I think we'd have this, but it still feels quite niche.

I think we can do it, but it will likely be a low priority.
