@JerryGreen I guess that fits into the calendar use case (technically what you're writing is a calendar, really?). I agree this would be useful, I'm just not sure if this one use case is enough to justify dynamic icons. Could you use the [Badging API](https://github.com/WICG/badging) to display a "4" or a "3" on the icon in a small circle?
