Re: [w3c/manifest] Use WebIDL to describe the manifest data structure (#611)

So this is a tough call. My understanding is this won't actually ever be exposed as such, right? If so, it seems OK, but others more knowledgeable than I might disagree.

wrt to the USVString vs. DOMString issue, again, I'm of little help. Sorry. Clarifying the use cases in WebIDL is on my plate and I should get to it shortly, but until then, you probably want to ask @annevk.
