The polyfill demonstrates that request-before-use works with no changes to the web platform. It's not perfect -- on Firefox it takes more resources for several features and leaves the camera light on for "camera" -- but `permissions.request()` isn't needed for websites to adopt the model. -- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
