@tkent-google What do you mean change "back"? As far as I know, Blink never implemented the old spec's behavior. As far as Gecko is concerned, it would require nontrivial work to change to meet the old spec, and I don't think the spec should have been changed to start with. But if Edge and Blink are okay with changing, IMO we should change just to not make WebKit have wasted their time implementing what the spec said at the time. (Although it's not my decision.) But please let's not have any more spec changes to preexisting interoperable behavior like this unless we have majority implementer buy-in in advance. -- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
