Certainly a good start would be to document the problems you've noticed.
I am very happy to continue work on this, though we should move quickly
to try to have it be a sponsored activity in one of the working groups.


Usually the biggest problem is finding willing participants to work on
it.  Seems we have that, so hopefully finding the appropriate sponsoring
group won't be hard.

We would indeed like to move this spec forward. It is not yet clear
which 
working group we would be doing this under. I am not (yet) a member of
the 
groups Bjoern mentions, though they do seem appropriate.

While we work out which group to do this under, would it be possible for

us to begin work on fixing the various problems that we have noticed?
