Adding mbox as required and sha1 as optional (additionally) for now. Let's discuss.

One instance of a tool that is generating the EARL (or being used by an evaluator) has more than one version at the same time? Do you mean internal vs public version ID?

Anyhow, let's see what Sandor comes up with, maybe the framework he finds supports what you are talking about anyway...
