Weekly digest of W3C news and trends: #W3Conf 2013 videos, Pointer Events last call, Webmaster at W3C, …

This is the 22 February - 1 March 2013 edition of a “weekly digest of W3C  
news and trends" that the W3C Communications Team prepares for the W3C  
Membership and public-w3c-digest mailing list (publicly archived [1])  
[sent separately]. This digest aggregates information about W3C from  
online media, a snapshot of how W3C and its work is perceived in online  
media.

Notably this week :

- 900 stories about W3C on Twitter in 7 days.
- over 2500 mentions of W3C in 7 days, with peaks on 26 Feb (543 mentions)  
and 27 Feb (532) that match respectively the launch of the Automotive  
Business Group, and the call for prior art on a patent related to Do Not  
Track.
- 39 posts that dlvr.it posted between Feb 17 - Feb 24 got 35.1K clicks  
(+23%) and reached 64.3K connections (+0.9%).

- With 55878 Twitter followers, net increase of 600 followers in the past  
week.
