Re: Agenda for the Sept 11 call (V01)

Yes, it's the 13th (this Friday), per Matthias's email:

>From Matthias on Sept. 6th:

Hi Team,

I now realized that it is wiser to open the poll after announcing the final plan.
I thus shifted the opening to Sept 19 and added an "important date" (for me) to publish the plan on Sept 18.

Regards,
matthias

September 13: Deadline for feedback on the proposed plan
September 18 (new): Revised plan is announced
    September 18 (updated): Poll opens
October 02: Issue Freeze: Issues raised after October 02 will be deferred to be addressed after Last Call.
October 09: The poll closes; chairs and team assess responses.

Isn't the deadline for feedback on the proposed plan September 13?

I wasn't aware of a deadline for comments regarding publication as a WD. Where was this deadline published?

Hi David,

thanks a lot for your input.

Unfortunately, the deadline on comments has passed yesterday and this snapshot is currently under submission for publication.
It should have sufficient disclaimers (I tried my best) and I would appreciate your inputs for the next release that we will publish soon.

matthias

6. Publication of the current editor's draft as a working draft:

I have asked our editors to
        - insert a disclaimer that this is only the current starting point of our
discussion and that the text is not consensus of the group.
        - to list the issues currently open
        - Indicating that more issues can be raised until October 02.
Discussion (you may email before the call, too):
What are additional concrete changes to the text that are essential before we publish?
In my view, we're not ready to publish this as a Working Draft. There are too many open issues and questions about the process going forward. According to W3C process, publication of a Working Draft is an indication to the world at large that the doc is approaching last call and is ready for broad public review. I don't think we're there yet. I would ask that we hold on doing this until things settle a bit.

Much thanks.

David
