In case there's any residual confusion, I generally speak as me, not  
as chair of the group. The chair of an interest group has, well,  
basically no power, so its silly to make it the default. If I'm going  
to "pronouce", I'll "put the chair hat on".

I guess there is a bit of a pulpit, but eh. Like *that* makes a  
difference. I let my native wit and charm handle all the bully  
pulipiting I need. ;)
