This paper is a plea to the community to address content standards and
recommendations at the same time as creating data sharing standards. I do
think that well-designed formats can facilitate content validation, and
hope to stimulate discussion on that topic. However, for Life Sciences
human assistance will be required to ensure data publishers understand
better the scientific essentials. I am happy to revise this paper; in
fact, feedback will be appreciated.
